SURVIVOR CELEBRATION FACTS AT A GLANCE

The 2007 Survivor Celebration Tour was a 23-day coast-to-coast outreach tour starting in New York City 9/23 and ending in Los Angeles 10/15. The Survivor Celebration Team traveled in a 38-ft long Pink sponsor logo wrapped RV, generously supplied by Dr. Travis Fox (www.travisfox.net and www.beatthebogeyman.com), who participated on the Tour as a co-host and National Presenting Sponsor. Xellent Swiss Vodka, another National Presenting Sponsor, launched a signature cocktail called Xellence (one part each Xellent Swiss Vodka, Cranberry Juice, Pineapple Juice and Champagne), created for Survivor Celebrations and benefiting the Marathon of Miracles Foundation for breast cancer survivors. Key Tour events included the CD World Premier at the House of Blues in Las Vegas 9/11, the Tour kickoff in New York City 9/23, a concert at BB King’s in Universal City in L.A. 10/13 and many other great events. - Purchase a Survivor Celebration inspirational music CD featuring Marcus Johnson (jazz keyboardist recently at #6 on Billboard’s Jazz Chart); Mercy Me (their hit song “I Can Only Imagine”); contemporary artist Franki Love; R&B artist Gordon Chambers; Jazz vocalist Allan Harris; Jazz artists Pamela Williams and Alan Hewitt and more. - SurvivorCelebration.com is a website to inspire, educate and empower cancer survivors and their loved ones. The website includes social networking, links to nonprofits and companies serving families that are dealing with cancer and many other features to help people survive the disease and thrive in life.
- Swing for Survivors Pink Scorecard Days Golf Program. This golf program brings business to golf courses on their slow days and enables golfers to play all day long for the price of 18 holes as they raise pledge money for nonprofits. Visit www.pinkscorecard.com for more details.
Money raised will benefit nonprofit organizations through the Marathon of Miracles Foundation (MOM). The MOM Foundation is a 501C3 nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire, educate and empower breast cancer survivors. The MOM Foundation’s goal is to help meet the financial, emotional, spiritual, physical and medical needs of survivors throughout the world and to conduct retreats and open wellness centers for Survivors and their families to experience all-expense-paid life-changing visits. The retreats and wellness centers will embrace a holistic approach to surviving and thriving including equine therapy, natural remedies, environmental detoxification, healthy diet, mental and physical training, music, laughter, walks on the beach and other therapeutic activities.

ABOUT THE MARATHON OF MIRACLES FOUNDATION
FROM AJOM ALI, CEO, ECLIPSE SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT:
During the past eight years, Eclipse Sports & Entertainment has helped a variety of nonprofit groups raise millions of dollars through sports marketing programs. My wife Jane was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. We thank God that she received great medical care and she has been healed! We learned a lot through her journey, like one in eight women in the U.S. will get breast cancer. We also learned that it's a tremendous battle and there are not enough support programs out there for survivors and their families. Recently we were told by a friend that when her mom was battling a brain tumor, they had money and they had great medical care, but what they didn't have was a group like ours to give them one-on-one support, prayers, hope and love.
Jane and I started the Marathon of Miracles Foundation, a nonprofit organization, with a mission to inspire, educate and empower breast cancer survivors. We did a kickoff event in the summer of 2006 that got our nationwide efforts off to a great start. We started an outreach program to help survivors and supporting organizations through golf events and consulting.
This year, with the help of many friends, we are taking the activities of the Marathon of Miracles Foundation to another level. Companies like Under Armour, Xellent Swiss Vodka and have stepped up to help. Dr. Travis Fox has stepped up in a huge way to help survivors cope, heal and become empowered. Not only did he donate his 38-ft RV to our Survivor Celebration Tour, but he is also donating a great deal of his time and expertise. My good friend Marcus Johnson (jazz keyboardist) and other gifted popular musical artists have been very supportive and are helping us with musical projects. Many wonderful people in the golf business such as Jane and Steve Spicer, owners of Daphne's Headcovers, have stepped up to help our efforts to help breast cancer survivors. We need your help too. Along with our friends in music, we have produced a music CD to inspire survivors and raise money. With the support of the golf community, we have launched a new golf promotion that every golf course and every golfer can easily participate in -- Pink Scorecard Days. With help from sponsors, celebrities and media, we successfully produced a 23-day promotional tour this fall to publicize those programs.
