Born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria, Rumiana was tutored in the Old European methods of classic artistry. As an adult, Rumiana along with her family escaped the tyranny of communism and eventually settled in Southern California. It is her art which completes the Bradford characteristic; giving each portrait an exquisite three dimensional and life-like look finished in fine european style.
